ABOUT ROX LEE
============
Roque Federizon Lee aka Rox Lee is a pinoy animator, visual artist, musician and moviemaker. Starting out as a cartoonist for Jingle Magazine, he became a household name through the widely popular Cesar Asar strip for Manila Bulletin. Rox Lee is one of the founding members of Animagination, now evolved into Animahenasyon. He is considered by many as the Godfather of young Filipino filmmakers with his independent approach to animation, working with the barest of materials, usually with just ink and paper, to
conjure powerful images. Rox Lee continues to maintain a loyal following in Western Europe, Japan and Singapore. In 2013 he is currently busy finalizing his book entitled “Cesar Asar in the Planet of the Noses,” a collection of his cartoons and short stories – that is when he’s not babysitting his two boys Zerox and Zentrum.

“I asked what is it?”

“Its vitamin C”

“Id rather take my usual multivitamin as long as its tablet.. this one is ..uh .. mushy”

“Sige na.. its good for you…” she then downs hers and teaches me how to take it.

and youll get the hang of it.

So I eventually follow.. GEEZ!!!! and I shit you not!!! this thing tastes AWFUL!!!!!  From a guy who eats anything!!!
This thing is like a 9 out of 10 in my taste like shit meter..a 10 out of 10 must be shit (not that I tasted)

hmmm.. how do I describe it..  Its like the consistency of those energy gels, no.. more like the syrupy fillings of chocolates.. its like orange filled Lindt candy but then again its panis.

Anyway .. its suppose to make you feel better, well improve immune system or whatever vitamin C is suppose to do ..but time 10 times so many pa.

Must Buy if: youre a runner/ active lifestyle person, suddenly youve got colds and you trained months for a race and by chance youre rushing to get well. Youd down anything regardless of taste just for any improvement on health / performance

Must Have Product This Summer

We have been experiencing heat temperatures which are one of the highest in the decade. This trumps the simple hydration bottle which I thought would top the list of this summers pick.  Instead it’s the Snake Brand Prickly Heat Powder.

I got to use it after hosting the UP Bagong Siglo run when my co host Carrie from VoiceWorx20 asked me to try it. Truly a wonder product,  it’s so soothing and cooling you would want to bath in it. For now its only available in Watsons, but it’s definitely a steal at P69 !

This is a must have for all runners and active outdoors people.

BDO Race for Life April 7, 2013 MOA: Five Years and running!

BDO Race for Life

Its going to be the 5th year of Banco De Oro (BDO) Race for Life.  BDO Unibank, in coordination with the BDO Foundation, will hold its 5th annual fund raising run dubbed as “BDO Race for Life. The annual BDO race is for the benefit of the BDO Foundation that has been helping communities in housing projects and disaster victims as well.

For the past four years, BDO Foundation has funded various housing projects, such as: BDO Foundation-GK Community in San Jose del Monte, Bulacan, Starville Shelter 3 in Baliwag, Bulacan, Lexber Homes in Calumpit, Bulacan,the BDO Foundation-UN Habitat ANCOP Homes in Camia, Caloocan and the SM-BDO-GK Village with 410 houses for typhoon Sendong victims in Cagayan de Oro.

If you have been cooped up somewhere and you dont know what BDO is, its one of the leading Universal Banks in the country which is a success story in itself as we can trace its humble roots from the very first Shoe Mart. Yes its under the SM group of company or SM prime holdings which cover banking, real estate (SMDC) ,  the mall operations SM, and how can we not forget their popular Bonus Brand.

It will be held on April 07, 2013 (Sunday), from 4:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. at the Marathon Route of Mall of Asia in Pasay City. One hundred percent of proceeds will help fund the housing projects and community facilities of BDO Foundation, Inc. for disaster victims.

Entry fee is Php450.00  for 3K,  Php550.00 for 5K category, Php700.00 for 10K and Php900.00  for  21K.  Participants shall be issued one (1) Race Kit, composed of singlet, B-tag, race bib, race route and race guidelines. Finishers medal will be awarded to all 21K finishers and first 500 finishers of 10K category.

This event is open to all running enthusiasts. Im pretty sure 21km  runners are and the first 500 10km runners going to be excited when they receive this at the finishline!

Registration starts on February 12 to March 15, 2013.  Payment and registration may be made in any BDO Branch.  Race kits are available from March 19 to 21, 2013 at selected BDO Branches, BDO Foundation Inc., G/F North Tower, BDO Corporate Center, Makati City and from March 23 to 24 and April 3 to 5, 2013 at the Fitness and Athletics Company at Active Fun Bldg., corner 9^th and 28^th Streets, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig.  Store registration sites:  Chris Sports in SM North Annex, SM Megamall, SM Mall of Asia and SM Manila and at Fitness and Athletics Company BGC.
