When I’m on the road and I couldn’t get my Subway sandwich fix, my next best option would be a little deli inside Shopwise libis. It’s a no frills bang for your buck treat at last Gourmet located in the middle of the grocery section where the deli is.
My comfort food of choice is a combo of chicken sandwich on toasted rye, grilled Hungarian sausage, and Russian potato salad with red beets hefty serving good for two all in all for P180.

The size of the chicken sandwich is pretty much standard in toasted rye bread. Filled generously on a bed of lettuce with a sumptuous mayo dressing with a hint of mustard.
The grilled Hungarian sausage is grilled just right no frills served with mustard ketchup n mayo. It’s best eaten though with garnish that’s why I ordered…
Russian potato salad with red beets. Dressing seasoned well and incredibly light on the taste, it doesn’t overpower the taste of the main dish but rather compliments it. Contains potatoes, green peas, egg, ham slices and red beets.
One of the best things I like with La Gourmet is that it’s right smack in the middle of the grocery. You can buy drinks chips and other Food items you wanna munch on. Best to visit odd hours weekdays seats and service all to you.
